And Then We Danced
Acclaimed at Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, the third feature film by Swedish-Georgian director Levan Atkin is set around the national dance company in Tblisi. Merab is a talented dancer of the company, engaged to his dance partner Mary. But when their classes are joined by newcomer Irakli, Merab soon finds himself strongly attracted by the young man, conscious that he will have to conceal his homosexuality in the rigorously heterosexual Georgian society.
